About River Oaks Electrician
We are a small electrical contractor in River Oaks, TX, and we look at every job from two angles: is the wiring safe and to code, and will your home cost less to run and feel better to live in once we finish? Both questions shape what we recommend.

Five Years of Careful Electrical Work
River Oaks Electrician has been in business for five years. In that time the work has taught us that most electrical problems in a house show up first as discomfort or waste: a breaker that trips when the air conditioner kicks on, a room that never gets enough light, a panel running warm because connections have loosened over many summers.
So we treat a service call as a chance to look a little further than the one complaint. If we are replacing a failed outlet and notice an overloaded circuit feeding your window unit, we tell you. If old fixtures are drawing far more power than the light they give, we explain what a change would mean for your bill. You decide what happens next, with the facts in front of you.
We are a licensed electrical contractor, TECL 36609, and we hold NABCEP certification. Both mean we have done the training and testing those credentials require. Day to day, they show up as tidy panels, correctly sized wire and terminations made to the manufacturer's torque values.
How We Work in Your Home
- 01
We find the cause first
Before we quote a repair, we test the circuit and trace the fault. A breaker that trips often is telling you something about load or a failing connection, and replacing it alone rarely fixes that.
- 02
Efficiency where it is real
We only connect a job to lower running costs when the connection holds up. LED lighting, a balanced panel and properly sized circuits for heavy loads can make a measurable difference. Other work is about safety, and we say so plainly.
- 03
Clear scope before work starts
You get a written description of what we will do and what moves the price, such as access, materials, the condition of existing wiring and any permit the job needs. We pull permits and arrange inspections as the local jurisdiction requires.
- 04
Care for the finish
We cover floors, cut drywall cleanly, label every breaker we touch and take our debris with us. Cover plates sit straight. Panel directories are written so you can read them later without calling us.
Where We Work
Our base is River Oaks, and we regularly work in Sansom Park, Westworth Village, Fort Worth, White Settlement, Lake Worth, Haltom City, Saginaw, Benbrook, Edgecliff Village and North Richland Hills. Long Texas summers put real strain on air conditioning circuits and panels across all of these communities, which is why so much of our panel upgrades, surge protection and torque and cleans work happens before the heat arrives. The Service Areas page has more on each town.
